Deep Space Planet Future Gun Action!! Trigun is a space western meets a space opera, rife with gunslinging, outlaws, and the overarching theme of Love & Peace. Wolfwood, on the other hand, was a fake priest who chased down Gunsmoke's first human natural disaster, either to kill him or help him save the world. He saved the world. Wolfwood didn't.

Stop me if you've heard this one before: a young orphan is adopted by a psychotic, Plant-worshipping cult and genetically modified and surgically tortured into becoming a superhuman. At 18-going-on-35, he mortally wounds his mentor, steals his title, and totally fails to kill the "deity" the Eye of Michael bends the knee to. This deity hires him to shadow his brother, which he does, and eventually he realizes this spiky-haired idiot is gonna save the world. Wolfwood doesn't get to see it.
